She worshiped misconceptions
thrust upon her by
the lifelong prophecy that she
"will do great things for God."
And has imagined
all this time
building castles
for that coming Kingdom.
Therefore
it shocks
and falls as Negative
at first
when her Lord
permits-
No!
Pursues
her into caverns
deep within the earth
where seemingly alone
she wrestles with the weight
of what must have been and
Truth.
Yet for good
All this is done
That all men might say not
"She did great things for Him."
But
"Great things for her were done."
